Start with a clear conversation.
A substantial home project involves decisions as well as construction. Here is how to start—and what is worth discussing along the way.
Start a projectComplimentary estimates.

Tell us where you are.
Share your city, intended work, budget range and planning stage. You can bring existing plans or explain the change you are exploring. Estimates are complimentary.
Meet the people coordinating the work.

Our team calls to arrange the first appointment. A project manager follows up on scope and estimating. We coordinate designers, engineers, specialist trades and permit coordination; those disciplines work with us as subcontractors.
Ask what is included—and what is still open.
Use the estimate discussion to clarify the work included, the selections still to make and the information still needed. Ask how a proposed change would be described, priced and approved before relying on an assumption.
Make room for the practical questions.
Before construction, discuss access, household arrangements, communication responsibilities and the next decisions. Ask what handover includes and which written terms apply to your project. The answer should come from your actual scope and agreement.
